The StoryA melancholy mute encounters a gregarious megaphone salesperson while a mysterious dollar bill changes hands.

 After experiencing a life tragedy, Morgen decides to stop talking and moves to San Francisco. One year later, he increasingly ventures out of his cramped apartment into the noisy world of the speaking, where his silence is not always well received. He begins spending time at a park frequented by Aria, who constantly listens to music through her headphones when she’s not working as a salesperson at a bustling megaphone dealership called Las Megas or dealing with her insane family.

 Morgen and Aria share the park with a group of quirky individuals engaged in a perpetual game of pick-up football and a host of others. Despite Morgen’s mutism, he and Aria start to acknowledge each other’s existence. Meanwhile, a one dollar bill keeps changing hands. It’s just a dollar to most people, but it has a mysterious effect on a few.
